Ethical SEO Providers
Search Submit ProMess about with your natural search results in Yahoo!Ok we dont like what this system does. Its as simple as that. It removes the authenticity of natural search results and brings it closer to a system on PPC. Inbreeding is never good and that is all this is. What is Search Submit Pro?Here's what Yahoo! says: Search Submit Pro lets you create titles and descriptions that are displayed as algorithmic search result listings. The program can automatically generate result listings that best match user queries. You can update the information frequently, independent of changes to your Web site. WTF is going on - your page title is your page title. It should talk about the things you sell. You cant just decide that you want to change it. Thats not natural search its paid search. You can even make it retarget your title based upon the search can you. Wonderful - if I rank for Britney Spears and sell toothbrushes I can now make it even harder for people to make an informed decision to visit my page. Wonderful!!! Spammers 1 - Ethical SEO 0. Search Submit Pro lets you include Web pages that might otherwise be excluded from algorithmic search results*. Examples include sites that require cookies or session IDs, sites with Flash content and information stored in content management systems, or sites that aren't well crawled because of Web site design. Search Submit Pro removes the guesswork and lets you decide which content should be included. Ok I'm really starting to lose it. Get a decent site. If you invest in a site thats not search engine friendly or a company that doesnt help you get your message to consumers why should a search engine pay attention to it! If it can't be indexed, thats because no one links to it. If you don't have links you aint gonna rank. It is that simple. Get some links is the solution. Not a hyped up version of a website submission service. If Yahoo! can't cope with session ids etc then that's their failing. If they updated their algorithm maybe we wouldnt have to pay them to index the site. Oh sorry forgot why make a service that works when you can monetize the inadequacies of a system. You don't have to wonder if and when your Web site is updated in the algorithmic search results to reflect special promotions or changes in pricing or inventory levels. With Search Submit Pro, your content can be refreshed as frequently as every 48 hours or on a less frequent schedule that you choose. It gets better and better. So now we can tell Yahoo! to update our message. Why worry about building a useful site with good inbound links from your community to help with your spidering. Lets take the onus of then and pay them to do it for us. I really cant understand why Yahoo! would admit that their spidering is so pitiful that they cant find the latest pages on a site quickly enough for it to be useful. Natural Search is a strategic medium, it is based on planning and forethought to make an experience good for search engines and good for users. Yahoo! want to make it tactical and want it to be a PPC clone where people believe the information they are presented with whilst manipulating it. Whatever next a search engine that hides its PPC results amongst the Natural search so you dont know whats paid and whats not. Oh someone tried that before. They're dead. No one likes it. A dedicated account manager is available to answer any questions, provide technical support, and help you manage your Search Submit Pro program. The straw that broke the camels back - direct access to an account manager. A natural search account manager. Its a new step up for any unethical SEO. Get a job at Yahoo! learn about how its all done and spam the algo on the side. Looks like a winner. Sorry final straw was that you can change the page that the user is directed to so you can append a query string to track your SEO more effectively. Wonderful say I run SEO for site A and another company does the PPC. PPC company sets up the feed without telling me. And magically the tracking code for the PPC campaign appears on all the results in Yahoo! I go WTF and they laugh all the way to the back. The company who makes the feed gets money for every click, they charge a commission - all this passed onto the customer who is paying for SEO. The PPC company then gets the credit for the clicks and resultant sales from Yahoo! and the SEO company looks useless. Thy have positions but no clicks. What right minded PPC companyw ould try to make a competitors SEO company look bad. Of course they'd never do this. Bollock I know of at least one company who uses this technique to pull business away from other Internet Marketing companies and to fill holes within their bidding strategy. If you want to read more have a look at Search Submit Pro. Its not a service, its a scam. If you want good positions in the search engines write some good content. Get involved with your online community. Spend some time and effort learning about your site, your consumers and your industry. You don't get anything in this world for free. With Search Submit Pro they'll even make you pay for it! List of Articles on Ethical Search Engine Optimization
